The Search Engine(SE) developed for the database is unique in its nature. Apart from the general search options like author/translator/discipline/publisher/year of publication etc. this particular website will allow one to access the data through even partial search. Information seekers can also find a particular Author/Translator’s complete works from an alphabetically ordered list.
If a particular title is searched in a language, the SE will also provide a complete list of the titles translated into other Indian Languages which will appear along with the specific search.
The page will also give hints to the users about the categories in which the matches are available, for example, a search given for ‘tagore’ will give on the side page hints of ‘tagore’ appearing as author, in the translation title, in the original title etc.
Apart from the general search, access to information will be facilitated soon through specific parameters, like search the translator, publisher, author, year of publication, languages etc.
