To make translation process more systematic, NTM follows certain steps. They are: identifying the texts to be translated; procuring Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for the identified texts; contacting Indian language publishers and getting the translated texts reviewed under the guidance of the Indian language Editorial Support Groups. The review of Translation takes place at two different stages. The translator is supposed to submit the first ten pages of the translation to NTM for primary review and approval. The final review takes place when the complete manuscript of the translated text is submitted. This layered review system helps maintenance of the quality of translation.
