Knowledge Texts

All pedagogic materials related to higher education, constitute the body of Knowledge Texts under NTM. Translating and making these Knowledge Texts available in Indian languages is one of the main objectives of National Translation Mission (NTM).

All prescribed text books, reference books and articles that are considered foundational in any discipline of college/university education are included for translation. Specific attention is given to the disciplines of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.

NTM covers 69 chief domains of higher education. These are subjects accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Below is the list of the domains.
