Release of Knowledge Texts translation and latest volume of Translation Today

A book release event was organized during the VIII meeting of the Project Advisory Committee at the Central Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi on 21st July 2014 where the latest volume of Translation Today, the journal on translation published by NTM and four translations of knowledge texts published in collaboration with Indian language publishers were released by the PAC members along with Prof. Awadesh Kumar Mishra, Nodal Officer, NTM & Director, CIIL and Prof. V. Saratchandran Nair, Project Director, National Translation Mission. With these, the total number of Knowledge Texts translations published by NTM has become 9. The two Kannada titles among the present set of books released include the first translations of science and technology texts selected by NTM.

The event was also attended by Shri. Biswadip Gogoi, Ms. R. Veena, Ms. Gayathri Natarajan, Ms. Sangeeta, Shri. Brij Kishor Mahato and Shri. Winston Cruz from NTM.
