National Translation Mission (NTM) is located inside the campus of Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), which is its nodal office. CIIL is situated exactly opposite to one of the well known hospitals in Mysore – Basappa Memorial Hospital (also known as B.M. Hospital) on Hunsur Road, Manasagangotri.

In the CIIL campus, there are two guest houses – International Guest House (IGH) and Southern Regional Language Centre (SRLC) Guest House. Visitors can stay in either of the guest houses.
